Its nine schools bring together the disciplines that shape how people live, work, move, communicate, create, build, heal, trade and experience the world.<\/p>\n<p>That structure gives learners a clearer route to develop specialist knowledge while seeing how their field connects to the wider built environment, creative economy, technology, service industries and human wellbeing.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"explainer-reading__section\">\n<h3>Four strategic pillars<\/h3>\n<p>The schools are brought together through four strategic pillars: Design &amp; Built Environment; Engineering &amp; Technology; Creative &amp; Service Economy; and Health &amp; Human Wellbeing. These pillars help KENCID organise learning around real contexts rather than narrow subject boundaries.<\/p>\n<p>Across the pillars, learners encounter practical projects, technical learning, research, enterprise and professional expectations that support capability for work and lifelong development.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"explainer-reading__section\">\n<h3>Progression across every school<\/h3>\n<p>The KENCID Institute of Recognition of Prior Learning &amp; Continuing Competence works across the academic structure.
